My name is Jared Austin I was born July 25, 1987 and raised in our great state of Maine. I am a Faith filled, family oriented man who enjoys the spending time with his Wife and three beautiful children. Helping individuals achieve their hopes, dreams, and desires is my greatest passion. Whether it be on a construction project or in a personal journey my happiness is built upon by watching others make and/or achieve the changes they are striving for. Spending time with my family and watching my children grow, fishing, snowmobiling, watching and attending basketball and football games and riding my motorcycle are my favorite pastimes.

I have been in the residential construction business since my early teen years, attending school and working on job sites part time since the age of 13. Then setting out full time after my high school graduation. First learning the art of concrete flat work finishing in my younger years, then exploring everything from framing, roofing, siding, interior flooring, sheetrock and interior finish carpentry. All of which I have physically done at one stage or another along this journey.

I pride myself on honest communication, always remaining teachable, and just being a caring individual. Whether its a chimney repair or a new construction home project I believe in treating every job the same no matter the size. Every job is important!

In 2018 I met my best friend and business partner Dylan Hendsbee and we combined our skills and set out on a path to become a family owned and operated construction company with just a bit of a different outlook on projects, as well as a set of beliefs that may differ a bit from your average home improvement business. We believe that the relationships we build with our customers are more important than just replacing a roof or building a garage. We aim to build lifelong relationships with our customers. In 2021 we became incorporated to form Austin- Hendsbee and Sons Inc.

I am very grateful and thankful to be where I am in this life personal and business alike. If I can help be one of the reasons a person achieves their hopes and dreams then I have succeeded. I am Blessed beyond belief.

I need to thank my strongest supporters and mentors for helping me be the man I am today. First my family: my beautiful wife Ashley Austin thank you for loving and supporting me at my worst and rejoicing in our success with me, for taking care of our home and family everyday especially the long ones. My mother Carolyn Austin who never lost Faith in me and always believed there was a great man within me. My children Eloise, Brantley, and Dylan you are truly Angels given to us from God. MY sister Deanna Durgin, husband Dwayne Durgin, and my nephew (and project manager) Nick Durgin thank you for all you have taught and still teach me. I love you all!

Second my mentors Bryan Hayward your guidance and calm voice pertaining to business matters and family life alike are invaluable and will never be forgotten. Donald Bowden your patients and support when I needed it most cannot be replaced you helped instill in me values that I will continue to live by daily. There are so many people the helped me to become the man I am today. Anyone I left out you know who you are, I love you and thank you, I am eternally grateful
