Why Site Work Decides Everything Above It

Site work is the part of a project nobody sees once it’s finished, and the part that determines whether everything above it holds up. Water is the whole game. Ground that slopes toward a foundation instead of away from it will find the basement eventually, and a driveway built without proper crown and ditching will wash out the first hard spring. Getting the grades and the drainage right at the start is far cheaper than fixing them around a finished building.
